Chinese mobile manufacturer VIVO has launched a new Z-series smartphone Vivo Z1 in China. The device is first in its category of smartphones. The company has its third smartphone launching as notched display after Vivo V9 and Vivo X21. The design comprises of glass back and full bezel-less screen. Available with the colors such as Blue, Black and Red, the phone has curved edges at the back. The extra security feature in the phone includes screen unlocking with the face followed by fingerprint reader. The poster showing the mobile and date of launching was released four days ago.

The new Z-series smartphone Vivo Z1 debuts at an event with 6.26-inch Full HD+ display. The screen resolution shows 1080 x 2280 pixels with an aspect ratio of 19: 9. The device is mechanized by octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoCand 4GB of RAM. It is the powerful Qualcomm Artificial Intelligence Engine and offers 30 % higher graphics performance. Its clock speed is upto 2.2GHz. A 3,260mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4 technology is fitted inside. For photography solutions, there is a 24-MP selfie snapper at the front inside the notch area alongside LED flash. While, at the back is present dual config camera sensor of 13-MP and 2-MP with LED flash. Bokeh effect is a characteristic feature. Videos can be shoot in 1080p.
Connectivity options are 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio output and a USB-C port. Android 8.1 Oreo accompanied by homemade FunTouch OS 4.0 gives the user interface. The 64GB in-built storage can be expanded upto max 256GB via microSD slot. A hybrid SIM slot is available. The prices for the Vivo Z1 are CNY 1,799/ $282/ 19000 INR. The device will start pre-sale through Jingdong (JD.com), Suning, Tmall and Xiaopin from today only. However, the official sale starts from June 4.
