Chinese manufacturer Vivo is planning to launch photography focused variant of Vivo 9 – the Vivo V9 Youth as per a report by slashleaks. Specifications of the device has been leaked in full. Vivo V9 Youth will sport a display notch just like it’s big brother while featuring a 6.3-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 has been used to protect this display and has 403PPI. If priced right Vivo V9 youth may give stiff competition to the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Huawei Y6 (2018) edition.
Vivo V9 Youth is powered by a Snapdragon 450 Processor instead of SND 626 which backs Vivo V9. Clocked at 1.8GHz the processor is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage there includes a dedicated memory card slot to expand the storage upto 256GB. Coming to the camera specs which is it’s main USP, sports dual rear sensors with 16MP + 2MP configuration. A front shooter of 16MP comes with f/2.0 aperture suitable for selfie-lovers. Some of the camera features include bokeh mode, AI HDR, face beauty mode, 4K video recording, and AR stickers.
This device is backed by a 3260mAh batter while connectivity options include Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G VoLTE, micro-USB etc. The phone runs on FunTouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and comes with USB OTG support. A fingerprint scanner has been mounted on the rear side of the phone.
