JYP Entertainment’s New Girl Group NMIXX: Know About the Group Members!

For the first time in three years, JYP Entertainment will debut a new K-Pop girl group. Since August of last year, the star agency has been teasing its debut by releasing brief videos of the members dancing, rapping, and singing from time to time. It was accomplished through a pre-promotion initiative devised by their team, which lasted approximately four months until November and consisted of fourteen episodes. The group’s name, NMIXX, had been trademarked since September, but it was only publicised a few days ago, on January 26, 2022.

JYP Entertainment is most recognised for producing Wonder Girls, Miss A, ITZY, and TWICE, among the most successful girl groups of all time. Naturally, fans are looking forward to NMIXX’s debut, as there is a good potential that it will become a household name among fourth-generation K-pop idols in the coming years.

NMIXX: Group Debut

Although JYP hasn’t revealed the precise date of their debut, it has been reported that the female group’s debut song will be released in February. It was also announced that the band’s ‘Blind Package,’ which will include a CD, photocard, poster, photobook, polaroid, and more, will be a limited edition. Last July, preorders for ‘Blind Package’ had already topped 60 thousand, demonstrating the fans’ enthusiasm! Furthermore, their official YouTube channel had more than 22.4 million views in just five months after the launch of JYPn, their pre-debut project.

NMIXX: Members of the Group

If you were expecting that the newly formed group will be made up of unknown trainees with no prior experience in the K-pop music industry, you should reconsider. The group will be made up of seven people, some of whom have been with JYP for a long period as trainees.

According to the agency, the seven young girls will be all-rounders in every sector and will not be evaluated on the basis of a certain role, as is the case with other K-pop groups. Seven aces, seven vocalists, seven dancers, and seven visual members will make up NMIXX! This approach will provide them with several opportunities to demonstrate their abilities. It also demonstrates their flexibility as young K-pop idols.
