Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc episode 9 Recap

The conflict between the Demon Hunters and the Upper Moon 6 resumed in Episode 9, which was packed with action. Tanjiro was exhausted and having trouble using his breathing techniques. Gyutaro came dangerously close to killing one of Uzui’s wives. Tanjiro, on the other hand, used both his Sun and Water Breathing to save her. Tanjiro appeared to be about to decapitate Gyutaro, but the scene switched to Inosuke and Zenitsu fighting Daki.

In an attempt to murder Daki, Tanjiro joined them. To protect Inosuke, Zenitsu employed his Thunder Breathing First Form, while Tanjiro used his Water Breathing Third Form. They were able to sever Daki’s head with their combined efforts. Inosuke grabbed her head and began running around, attempting to dislodge it from the body.

Gyutaro stabbed Inosuke near his heart from behind, just when it appeared they had the situation under control. Tanjiro’s face was filled with sadness as he gazed at Tengen Uzui, who was lying on the ground with one of his arms severed. Tanjiro fell from the roof and extended his arm towards Zenitsu Agatusma towards the end of the episode.
