Sean Hannity, a friend and coworker confirmed his death on Monday, February 22, 2022, saying, “We miss him already.” Cal Thomas, a columnist who Bob credits with helping him get his life back on track, later shared the tragic news. On Facebook, he paid respect to the former network commentator. Bob’s cause of death is unknown at the time of writing. His two children from his marriage to Leland Ingham, which lasted from 1992 to 2002, are his only survivors.

Beckel married Leland Ingham in 1992. They ultimately divorced in 2002 after having two children. After remarriage, Ingham was renamed Leland Keyser and became involved in the Brett Kavanaugh nomination when Christine Blasey Ford cited her as a friend who could corroborate her claim of Kavanaugh sexually abusing her in high school.
