On Al and Sam’s wedding day, it was clear that he lived with his mother and relied on her for everything. Furthermore, doing the worm on the dance floor did not help him. Al, on the other hand, is overjoyed with Sam since she has shown to be everything he was hoping for in a woman: gorgeous, capable, and self-sufficient.

While he was pleased with his physical appearance, it did not impress Sam. She believed that it takes more than flawless good looks to make a relationship successful. Because of the disparity in Sam and Al’s views on maturity and relationships, the former decided she didn’t want to stay in the relationship. Al reminisced on his experience with Sam and what it meant to him in a March 2022 interview. “I’ve developed as a person as a result of this experiment,” he stated. I need to talk about things a lot more deeply; I don’t want to be so superficial.” He even confessed that he needed to learn to compromise because it was another issue he and Sam had.

Despite everything, Al confessed that he appreciated being a part of the show. “Even though I came on there to find love, I fell short,” he continued. I didn’t find love, but I did find something far greater in the form of lifelong companions, including Sam.” He and Sam went on a snorkeling date after their romance ended on the show to make sure they ended on a nice note.

Al stated in a subsequent interview in mid-March 2022 that he has been continuing on his growth route. He’s searching to buy a house so he can leave his mother’s house. “Obviously, I’ll be learning a lot,” he remarked, “and I have to thank Sam for teaching me a lot of things as well.” Sam, on the other hand, does not appear to have any ill sentiments toward Al.
