Xiaomi today launched to the world the Mi Pad 4. Considering that it costs about 1099 Yuan, will that be worth buying the first tablet to come with the chipset Snapdragon 660 ?
The Mi Pad 4 is a compact tablet. Even though the screen is a bit larger, 8 inches as opposed to the 7.9 inch Mi Pad 3, this device has a smaller body. More specifically the dimensions are 200.2 x 120.3 x 7.5mm, as opposed to the predecessor that has 200.4 x 132.6 x 7 mm. It is true that the difference, looking at the numbers is not exactly too much. However it makes it easy to use from one hand device. The back of the Mi Pad 4 reminds in large scale the look of the iPad 2018. It’s a nice design, but it’s a copy. Overall, the Mi Pad 4 has a very attractive design, particularly the black variant.

The Mi Pad 4 features an 8-inch screen with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. This is a lower resolution compared to last year’s model and this is partly because of Xiaomi. This aspect is related to the fact that the Chinese manufacturer has changed to a ratio of 16:10 instead of 4: 3. It fits in a segment of resolution having 1200 x 1920 pixels. Xiaomi put a 660 Snapdragon into the Mi Pad 4. The CPU and GPU integrated is Octa-core (4×2.2 GHz Kryo 260 & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 260) and Adreno 512. Backed by 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB of storage. There is an expansion slot for microSD cards if you need extra space.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 4: Cameras, Price and Availability
The Mi Pad 4 features a 13MP f / 2.0 rear camera with HDR and beauty mode. It also has a 5MP f / 2.0 front camera that supports facial recognition. The sale starts from 29 June.
At the connectivity level stand out for a USB-C port, Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi dual band for connectivity. The LTE model has GPS and a slot for nano-SIM cards. Both models have a 6000 mAh battery. Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 is available in black and gold. The WiFi model of 3 GB and 32 GB has a price of CNY 1099/ Rs 11449. The 4 GB version of RAM + 64 GB rounds to CNY 1399/ Rs 14499. Already for CNY 1499/ Rs 15599 you can choose the LTE model of 4 GB + 64 GB.
