The cast of Thirty-Nine is something we seriously need to talk about before streaming the show. In Thirty-Nine we will see Crash Landing On You’s Son Ye-jin playing the role of Cha Mi-jo. The character is the director of Gangnam Dermatology Clinic in this story. Moreover, we will see Jeon Mi-do as Jeong Chan-young.

The latter is an acting teacher in the JTBC drama. Moving on, the third main lead of Jang Joo-hee will be played by Kim Ji-hyun. Kim Ji-hyun’s character is of a cosmetics manager at a department store.  Apart from the leading ladies, we have Yeon Woo-jin as Kim Seon-woo, who is a dermatologist of the same age as our leading beauties. Likewise, Lee Moo-saeng as a 42-year-old Champ Entertainment representative, Kim Jin-seok is an important part of the show.

The role of Park Hyun-joon, a Chinatown president and chef is assigned to Lee Tae-hwan. On the other hand, Kang Mal-geum as Cha Mi-hyun and Seo Ji-young as Mi-jo’s mom will be some of the exciting characters in Thirty-Nine. Son Ye-jin is making her comeback under the JTBC title after three years as she last appeared in the 2018 drama “Something in the Rain” alongside Jung Hae-in. Initial news of the casting for Thirty-Nine came out in the month of April 2021. However, the main lead was confirmed by August of the same year.

Thirty-Nine Episode 1: Release Date And Where To Watch?

Thirty-Nine Episode 1 will release on Wednesday, 16th February 2022. The show will be available to stream on its original platform JTBC channel. However, for international fans, Thirty-Nine Episode 1 will be available on Netflix. The show will be a mini-series with 12 episodes in all. Each episode is expected to be of an average run time of 70 minutes.
