When Bess tells Layton that just a few people knew about the notes, the latter deduces that Pike is the bad guy. When Pike realizes Layton knows it’s him, he flees from Layton and his men. He meets Asha, who claims she’s been hiding for years because her lie about New Eden was discovered.
In the psychiatry car, Ruth approaches Roche and requests that he return. The only reason he’s doing this is to kill Wilford, he tells her. Alex, Carly’s new acquaintance, invites her to meet her father. Miss Audrey bribes LJ to get into the first-class so that she can meet Wilford. She asks Wilford to fight Layton when he is defenseless in order for him to restore his authority and leadership in the Snowpiercer. Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 6 Ending Explained: Why Does He Try to Kill Layton? Is Pike Dead?
Do you want Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 6 Ending Explained? Pike accepts Layton’s request and heads to the Tail to talk to him about the matter. When Layton tries to solve the problem by delivering luxury, Pike stands solid in his convictions. Pike makes it clear that he is not the kind of person Layton can buy. When Layton becomes the Snowpiercer’s leader, Pike begins to feel inept. He starts to dislike Layton’s attempt to control the fate of all the passengers entirely based on his own logic and preferences. The power and control Layton wield over others, notably Pike, fuels his hatred for his erstwhile brother-in-arms.
Pike’s worries about New Eden inspire his desire for Layton’s reign to end. Pike gets determined to see Layton slain as Asha’s remark about her prior life confirms his suspicions, and instead of verbal dialogue, he begs for blades. Layton, on the other hand, triumphs in the knife fight. He fights Pike till he stabs him to death. Now that Pike has died, Layton may resume his New Eden story, at least until the Snowpiercer arrives at the Arabian warm spot. Pike’s haste was a factor in his death. Rather than allowing Layton to talk and persuade him as a brother, Pike followed his intuition and died.
Is Layton Dead or Alive?
When Layton wanted a knife fight, he wasn’t physically capable of battling Pike. Layton was forced to battle Pike for his life despite the fact that the explosion had damaged his cranium. Pike repeatedly smacked Layton in the head during the fight. Layton has visions and suffers before falling after paying his respects to Pike’s body. Even though Layton’s physical condition is alarming, the aftereffects of the explosion and the anguish inflicted by Pike are not enough to kill him. Because he pushed his body for the investigation and the grueling fight with Pike, Layton may have died of exhaustion rather than death.
If Layton passes out in the Tail, we may expect Josie to find him and take him to Dr. Pelton. Under Pelton’s direction, Layton may soon recover. Even though Layton survives the fight with Pike, Miss Audrey’s desire to see Wilford return as the leader may prove to be a dangerous dilemma for him. If Pike had discovered Layton and Asha’s lie before his death, Layton’s life would not be as secure as he assumes.
