Slow Horses Episode 3 Recap
Do you want Slow Horses Episode 3 Recap & Ending Explained? The episode opens with Min and Louisa sitting in a pub, watching the news of Hassan Ahmed’s kidnapping develop. They realize that their employer, Jackson Lamb, might know more about the case, so they return again to Slough House to try to hack into his email. The two are surprised by an intruder in the office who is slain in the subsequent scuffle. The dead invader is recognized as Jed Moody, an MI5 agent, when Jackson arrives on the scene, much to the amazement of everyone present.
In a covert encounter with MI5 second desk chief Diana Taverner, Jackson learns that the kidnapping could be part of a wider conspiracy. Jed’s death, on the other hand, is an issue since it puts Diana’s unofficial plan, which Jackson refers to as a “false flag operation,” out in the open. In exchange for immunity for his Slough House underlings, Jackson is charged with traveling to the kidnappers’ hideout to facilitate Hassan’s rescue and “hush up” the whole event.
Simultaneously, disgraced right-wing journalist Robert Hobden pays a visit to politician Peter Judd’s home, warning him that if Hassan is slain by nationalists, a media storm could ensue. The politician is irritated by Robert’s presence and tells him to go, but he is also disturbed when Robert claims that the MI5 is involved in the operation.

Slow Horses Episode 3 Ending Explained
Do you want Slow Horses Episode 3 Recap & Ending Explained? Hassan remains at the hideout, attempting to flee before his kidnappers, the self-styled Sons of Albion, discover him. He comes close to escaping but makes too much noise and is arrested. Jackson, River, Min, and Louisa arrive at the hideout to release Hassan while the kidnappers bind him. However, when Curly becomes suspicious and pulls out an ax, the kidnappers’ situation becomes violent.
When Jackson and his team get to the hideout, they discover that the door has been left unlocked. Inside, they find a puzzling scene of violence. The MI5 agents are even more baffled when one of the kidnappers, Moe, is discovered decapitated with no sign of the other kidnappers or Hassan. As a result, a long-awaited murder occurs with an unexpected victim. Curly, the kidnapper with the least experience, appears to hold a grudge against Moe, a former military who is generally combative.
Curly looks to be wary of Moe as he tries to persuade him not to hurt Hassan near the end of the episode. Because the kidnappers have not demanded a ransom, it is clear that their ultimate goal is to kill Hassan, making Moe’s actions suspicious. Curly beheads Moe in the end, partly out of suspicion and partly out of wrath. Diana’s revelation that one of the kidnappers is actually an undercover MI5 agent adds to the mystery. As a result, Curly may have accidentally exposed and killed the spy, jeopardizing the MI5 mission as a whole.
What is Diana Taverner’s Plan? Is She Behind Hassan’s Kidnapping?
When a dangerous conspiracy is exposed during her undercover meeting with Jackson in episode 3, Diana Taverner, the chief of MI5 personnel, likewise emerges as a twisted figure. Hassan Ahmed’s kidnapping appears to have been planned by her for a variety of objectives, the first of which is to weaken the country’s extreme right-wing movement. Diana is attempting to sway public opinion against nationalists by flooding the news with articles of a nationalist organization threatening to behead a student, which has alarmed right-wing journalist Hobden and nationalist lawmaker Peter.
Diana even chooses the kidnapping victim, implying that Hassan isn’t being kidnapped for his stand-up comedy routine. She reveals that the young man is actually Mahmud Gul’s nephew, a Pakistani operative. Diana believes that by rescuing Hassan, she will be able to improve her ties with Pakistani intelligence and gain access to valuable information. As a result, it appears that Diana, the head of MI5’s second desk, is the one who kidnapped Hassan.
