New IRCTC Site And App Down for 1.30 Hours, People Unable to Book Railway Tickets through irctc.co.in or Mobile Phone App

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Cooperation Limited (IRCTC) website irctc.co.in and Android mobile phone app were down on the morning of Saturday, August 25 for about 1:30 hours. It was down on 11.00 AM when people were booking open Non-AC (Sleeper) tatkal ticket. The IRCTC users were facing the log-in problem in their accounts. The login service was disabled. The IRCTC official site displayed a downtime message which said,
