Plot Of Cherry Blossoms After Winter

Cherry Blossoms After Winter is a simple story of youth, romance, and school life that revolves around two boys in a brotherly relationship. However, things are expected to take a different turn when the two of them will develop different feelings for each other. The story starts when a seven-year-old Seo Hae Bom leaves his home and starts living with a new family, due to his parent’s sudden death. There he meets another boy, Jo Tae Seong, of the same age and they form a brotherly relationship.  For Hae-bom, Tae-seong is perfect in everything since he has his family and is good-looking and hard working.

Hence, he feels insecure. However, the new family helps him in adjusting and he is taken good care of. After living together for years, the boys end up in the same high school, being classmates. They have been together for a long and this helps them in developing a strong liking towards each other. But, will that be easy for the boys to fall in love and confront their feelings? The problems of BL romance will be clearly shown in this mini-series as the protagonists, Hae-bom and Tae-seong will gradually come close.

Cherry Blossoms After Winter will have Ok Jin Uk in the role of Seo Hae-bom, who seems to be insecure about his personality and feels guilty for sharing Tae Seong’s parents with him. He is often a victim of bullying in the new school. Moreover, Tae Seong will be portrayed by Kang Hui. This character has had a crush on Hae-bom since they were young and he defends Hae-bom by intervening in his fights with the bullies.

Other characters include Ha Eun Sun that will be played by Lee Hyun Kyung and Cha Gun as Yong Hee will be a part of the show. On the other hand, Johyun will be seen as Nam Jiah and Kim Hyun Wook as Kim Jun Seung. Lastly, Eun Chae is set to play the supporting role of Kim Se Ri.
