Earlier this year and more specifically in March, VIVO launched the VIVO V9 smartphone with 4GB of memory. Now this company wanted to make this device even more appealing and came to provide a version with 6GB. The device that will have a price of IDR 4,299,000, debuted in Indonesia and soon must reach other global markets. In India, VIVO V9 is price Rs 22,990. The previous launched V9 version has 4GB RAM and Snapdragon 626 while the newly launched arrives with Snapdragon 660 SoC. The new device will be available on official online store of VIVO and JD.com.
The Snapdragon 660 is the successor to the Qualcomm 653. There are some significant changes between these chipsets, the first of which is switching the manufacturing process from 28nm to 14nm which is much more efficient. The second difference is that Qualcomm introduced the Kryo 260 cores into the latest processor in a Cortex-A72 and A53 combination
