Xiaomi launched Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A with Helio Chipset

All the way Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A is launched in China. Xiaomi has three series of smartphones of which Redmi series has disclosed its new phone name Redmi 6. It is the sixth generation phone of Redmi series along the Redmi Note streak. The Redmi series is the vast and major selling phone series as it offer beautiful features in less affordable price. This time also the base price of Redmi 6 doesn’t rise 9000 INR. Xiaomi chairman Lin Bin shared a poster with the Redmi 6 smartphone, which reveals the front of the device. This image is similar to the one that appeared recently in TENAA, and supposedly belongs to the Redmi 6A. There are thick bezels around the frame. But there is a camera with LED flash on the top front which makes screen delightful.

The device is the successor to last year December launched Redmi 5. On contrary to 5.7-inch of Redmi 5, the Redmi 6 front demonstrates 5.45-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 1440 x 720 pixels screen resolution. The volume button and the power button are on the right side of the smartphone. The device comes with a Fingerprint sensor at the back and Face Unlock feature from front camera. The camera setup of dual config incorporates a 12MP + 5MP sensors along with LED flash. While 5MP selfie snapper sits at front. Company’s MIUI 10 with Android Oreo runs the device. The device’s internal is Helio P22. It is a powerful octa-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU clocked at  2.0GHz with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU is integrated in the chipset.

The price for 3GB + 32GB model is CNY 799 (8400 INR). Another model with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM has price of CNY 999 (10500 INR).

Xiaomi’s other pocket friendly phone launched is Redmi 6A. The phone is very similar to Redmi 6 with 5.45-inch HD+, 18:9 display. The chipset is powered by quad-core Helio A22 SoC and 2GB RAM. On photography context the device consists of a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF. While for the front, there is 5MP selfie shooter. It also has Portrait mode. It is a dual nano-SIM phone which runs on Android Oreo and MIUI 10. Backed by 3000 mAh non-removable battery, the Redmi 6A is priced at CNY699 or 7349 INR.
