VIVO Z1i leaked with Snapdrago 636 and 3180mAh battery

Last month, VIVO announced a new line of mid-range smartphones called the Z series. The first phone in the series was VIVO Z1, which was equipped with a Snapdragon 660 processor. Today, it is reported that VIVO is preparing to launch a new smartphone called VIVO Z1i. Earlier, a VIVO smartphone built with model number V1730DT receives TENAA certification which also displays 6.2″ screen.

This VIVO handset comes with a screen of 6.26 inches, having a Full HD resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The aspect ratio is traditional 18: 9. Coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is a 636 Snapdragon processor. Its CPU is 8x Qualcomm Kryo 260 clocks at 1.8GHz with Adreno 509 GPU. While its successor Vivo Z1 serves Snapdragon 660. At the camera level, it offers a dual chamber configuration with 13MP (PDAF) and 2 MP sensors accompanied by LED flash. Already in the front part we find a camera for selfies of 16 MP. It also features a 3180 mAh battery and the Android 8.1 Oreo OS with company’s Funtouch OS 4.0.

Some of the Connectivity preferences are Bluetooth v5, Wi-fi 802.11 ac, 4G VoLTE, A-GPS, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack. The dimensions are 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89 mm and weighs 149.3 grams. The specifications mentioned above are very similar to the smartphone that appeared in TENAA. Therefore, we conclude that the Vivo V1730DT is actually the VIVO Z1i having same specs as in Chinese Android Authority site TENAA. For safety two features are present i.e., Fingerprint sensor at the back and Face detection for unlocking the phone.

The source also reveals that Vivo Z1i is expected to be released next July 2 with a price of around CNY 1399/ 211 USD. The expected Indian price is Rs 14,499.
