Those who were zapped by the energy beam have survived. In the season 1 conclusion, Monkhouse reveals to Tom, Nas, and the others that the orbs transferred individuals, including their parents, to sleep centers all across the planet and placed them in stasis pods. They’ll sleep until global carbon levels hit an optimal average, which may take a century or more. Each of these constructions has the capacity to hold 100 million people. The entire initiative, dubbed the Harvest by Monkhouse, was clearly a big success. Monkhouse may not be a mass murderer, but he is incarcerating billions of people. Borb is kidnapped, reactivated, and used against Nas and the others. Much to his surprise, it didn’t work at all, and he is captured.

Who Is Lucy?

Shortly after the protagonists have captured Monkhouse, a figure with a black hood walks into the house. After watching them enter on the security cameras, Sophie, Tom, and Misha confront him. As the figure removes their hood, Danny, who is now working with a female named Lucy, is revealed (Lara McDonnell). She is revealed to be Monkhouse’s estranged daughter. After learning of her father’s deeds, she has come to collect her inheritance. When it comes to lying, Lucy is even nastier than her father. She wants to use his Nexus Key, the tool that Monkhouse uses to control everything in Monkhouse Dynamics, to decide who wakes up and who does not.

Dalton leaves the house on his stasis pod after commencing the molecular implosion process. Everyone else is free to depart, including Danny and Lucy. When Borb rejoins the gang, he makes the bus fly. The Nexus Key has been earned by the group, but it is genetically linked to Monkhouse’s genetics, allowing it to be used only by Monkhouse and Lucy. The eight friends decide to track down their parents and save the world. In the closing scene, Monkhouse is revealed to have washed up on a beach. There’s a good chance that one of his facilities is close by.
