Star Bollwood producer Karan Johar has announced his next big project up his sleeves. ‘Kalank‘ is the name of the film and it’s a dream project of Karan Johar. This film has a star studded lineup including Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur & Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. Actor Kunal Kemmu is also said to have a role in the film. It’s a period love story set against the backdrop of Partition. Kalank is directed by Abhishek Varman in collaboration with Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Release date for this period drama has been set for next year on 19th April, 2019 with it’ shooting starting today onwards. Shibani Bathija has pinned the story of Kalank. Here’s the very first poster of the film.

This film was planned 15 years ago by Karan and his father Yash Johar. It’s the same ‘Shiddat’ Project with Sridevi as a part of it. But after her sudden death makers decided to go with Madhuri Dixit. Karan Johar recently finalized the title as “KALANK”. Karan announced the film on his twitter handle.

Abhishek Varman who has previously directed 2 states is set to start his new venture with ‘Kalank’ after four long years. He has been a part of blockbuster films like ‘My Name is Khan’ and ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ as assistant director. So, expect Kalank to be a grand film. Stay tuned with us for more information on this film.

Nubia Z18 Flagship device listed on TENAA with 5.99-inch…

Upcoming flagship from ZTE Corporation’s subsidiary Nubia has been listed on Chinese telecommunications authority site TENAA. Appeared with model number NX606J the Nubia Z18 smartphone looks similar in design to less powerful recently launched ZTE Z18 mini. This device will sport a Full HD+ 5.99-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Spec sheet reveals that there will be two variants boasting 6GB & 8GB of RAM relative to 64GB or 128GB storage options.

Qualcomm’s latest Octa-core Snapdrgaon 845 processor will power this device alongside a Aderno 630 GPU. Earlier leaks suggested that Nubia Z18 will feature a notched-display with front sensor being placed on top of it. There will be a dual-camera setup at the rear side featuring a 24-MP sensor. While a 8MP selfie shooter will be available at the front suitable for HD video calling.

The smartphone will run on stock Android 8.0 Oreo as per a company official instead of company’s own customized Nubia UI. A 3350mAh battery will juice up this Dual-SIM device and there will be a fingerprint sensor at the back panel for bio-metric authentication. It will also support Quick Charge 4+ functionality. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB Type-C support. The phone measures 148.58 x 72.54 x 8.55mm and weighs 172 gram.

Earlier, Nubiz Z18 with model number NX606J had scored an impressive 271,674 on AnTuTu benchmark. Full Specifications and other technical aspects are yet to be known. The ZTE Nubia Z18 (NX606J) will be made available in Black and Gold colors. Pricing and exact launch dates are not available at the moment. ZTE announce it’s flagships around the start of summer. So, we expect it to release sometime in June first week.

Renders, Price and user manual of upcoming mid-range smartphone Oppo A3 has been leaked. The details were spotted on China Telecom website for a small amount of time, after being softly removed. This budget device is all set to release in China on May 1 for a price of CNY 1,999 that is approximately Rs 20,825. So, this smartphone may be priced around 21,000 INR in India including taxes and excise duty. Listed with model number PADM00 the Oppo A3 smartphone was certified by TENAA few weeks ago.

The latest leak suggest that Oppo A3 will feature a FHD+ 6.2 inch notched-display which is now common in all smartphones. It runs on Android 8.1 oreo while the display resolution is somewhat 2280 x 1080 pixels. There will be 128GB of internal storage and you will never sun out of space with expandable storage of 256GB. Interestingly, Oppo has ditched fingerprint sensor on A3 providing Facial recognition for authentication purpose. It comes with a 4GB of RAM and a octa-cote 2GHz MediaTek Helio P60 processor powers this device.

Camera specs include a 16MP rear sensor with LED flash while a 8MP front shooter for selfies comes with AI beauty self-shooting + post-ultra clear photo modes. This dual-SIM devices comes with a 3,330 mAh battery. However, there is no indication whether it supports fast charging. Connectivity options are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm jack and GPS. Oppo A3 measures 156 × 75.3 × 7.8mm in size and weighs 159grams and comes with some basic sensors include Proximity Sensor, Light Sensor, Accelerator. Knight Black, Soybean Meal, Blue, Stardust Silver, and Pomegranate are the color options to choose from.

We’re not sure whether this device will get a India release or not. OPPO is set to announce it on 1st May with a price tag of CNY 1,999 equivalent to Rs 20,825.

Raazi Film is based on Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling ‘Sehmat’, about an Indian spy married to a Pakistani military officer during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Alia Bhatt plays the role of ‘Sehmat’ who was the one to tip-off the Indian intelligence when Pakistan planning to attack INS Virat in 1971.

About her role in ‘Raazi’ actress Alia bhatt shared his thoughts in an interview “The guilt that Sehmat feels as a wife was the toughest to portray. There were these points in the script where Meghna wrote, ‘Sehmat gives a knowing look’. I used to wonder what it means. We used to giggle about it, but when she explained it to me, I realised what she meant. Sehmat is around so many people, and she’s seeing and hearing so many things. She cleverly camouflages her true feelings with fake reactions that will go well with the people around her at that point. I wondered how I would give ‘that look’. Portraying a spy in the garb of a wife was difficult.”

Alia has already impressed audiences not only with her looks but her acting too. She has done wonderful job in off-beat films like Highway (2014) and Dear Zindagi (2016) and now with ‘Raazi’ the versatile star is set to touch new heights. Vivo V9 Youth will sport a display notch just like it’s big brother while featuring a 6.3-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 has been used to protect this display and has 403PPI. If priced right Vivo V9 youth may give stiff competition to the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Huawei Y6 (2018) edition.

Pricing and details about launch of Vivo V9 Youth are not available at the moment. However, leaked specs are concrete as these comes from a very reliable source of information.
