OPPO A5 with 1.8GHz SoC and 4320mAh battery Leaked

Setting a return towards its flagships, OPPO has not forget to manufacture its mid-range smartphone segment. This comes from the leaks of new OPPO A5 which has surfaced the web. The smartphone as per the images leaked look like OPPO A3 and company’s subsidiary Realme 1. The leak suspect the device to be an affordable mid-range smartphone with ultra-thin bezels all over the screen.

This time OPPO has come with Snapdragon 450 chipset guided by Qualcomm in OPPO A5. This Qualcomm SoC is somewhat less effective than Helio P60. Snapdragon 450 has clock frequency of 1.8Ghz whereas MediaTek Helio P60 do it at 2.0GHz. However, the new OPPO handset is paired with 4GB of RAM and traditional 64GB expandable storage. On the side of optics unit, A5 is a promoted version over its predecessors. The new device stores the dual camera config at the back with a LED Flash. The primary sensor is 13MP and the secondary is 2MP. However, for selfies 8MP f/2.2 sensor is present. The high-end battery of 4320mAh fuels the device while Android Oreo 8.1 boots it.

A 19: 9 aspect ratio display dedicates itself on the front of device having screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The display measures 6.2-inch diagonally with the eye-catching notch on the top. The design as can seen in the image looks like Realme 1 showing diamond cut back panel with OPPO penned down at the centre. For initial security precaution OPPO has left out fingerprint in place of Facial recognition. With one of its kind having 4/64GB RAM/ROM, the expected Indian price of the device are Rs 16,990/ 1600 Yuan.

Travelling back to the time, OPPO launched its flagship Find X in Paris on 19 June. This smartphone presents a popular camera feature i.e., the camera sensors pop out when the app is opened. This device will not go sale in USA and the China release date is June 29. July 12 is the official lunch date for India.
