First Day Updates From Apple’s WWDC 2018

Apple’s world wide meeting has been started in California. The journey will over on 8 June 2018. The iPhone manufacturing company announced the iOS 12 for iPhone and iPad. Eyes from all over the world are on the Apple’s WWDC 2018. The conference every year highlights on the new inventions made by company developers. The center of this year’s conference revolves around iOS 12 which serves as the performance booster. All the devices which runs on iOS 11 will also be compatible to iOS 12. The first beta is expected to be available this week.

Another updates are new changes to Siri and ARKit replaces to ARKit 2. Also, there are updates to apps such as news and books.
Now we can find quick, stable and sincere news on Apple news. iBooks changes to Apple Books like Google Play Books. Concerning the performance, now the applications will launch 40% faster. On the keyboard, the launch speed increase will be around 50%. The camera will also be much faster, reaching 70% on older devices. This is because Apple has adjusted the application launch system.
In parallel, the processor now always runs at full speed when it is charging. ARKit 2 will bring new and many tools for programmers such as better face scanning, better 3D object detection and – best of all – shared experiences. In practice this means, for example, that several players can play the same game in AR.
Siri will receive a new feature called Shortcuts. One can add shortcuts to your favorite Siri apps. Siri will also provide automatic suggestions on the lock screen. If you are late to leave the house, for example, you will be notified by the Apple Personal Assistant.
Time management of working on the smartphone can be done as phone will report the time spent on the apps.
Customization can be done to notifications such as Grouped notifications, and new feature launch Do not disturb for bedtime.
Carplay now supports third-party navigation systems.
New Animoji characters unveiled, now can sense language. FaceTime comes fully integrated into iMessage, so you can easily transition between applications.

iOS 12 will launch exclusive in September. Meanwhile, we could see a new iPhone variant justifying the operating system. Working with Pixar, Apple originate a new file format USDZ for AR making more accessible to users. Adobe declared its support for AR using Adobe’s Creative Cloud. Attracting the media with new OS, Apple WWDC 2018 also focused on WatchOS 5. It’s automatic exercise detection feature is unique. The same shortcuts that are available on Siri, will also reach Apple Watch.

Staff Selection Commission(SSC) has officially released the SSC CGL Notification 2018. You can apply from 5th May to 4th June 2018. The official website of Staff Selection Commission is ssc.nic.in. You can get information from here.

The Staff Selection Commission SSC was originally scheduled to release the official notification for SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2018, SSC CGL 2018 on 21^st April 2018. However, then the notification for SSC CGL 2018 was postponed till 5^th May on unknown grounds.

SSC CGL : Apply Online, Exam Format, Important Dates

The Staff Selection Commission SSC is expected to release around 4000 vacancies for various Group B and Group C posts including Assistant Audit Officer, Divisional Accountant, Assistant Accounts Officer, Auditor, Accountant/Junior Accountant, Sr. Secretariat Assistant, Tax Assistant, Assistants Inspector Assistant/Superintendent Inspector (Central Excise), Sub-Inspector, Inspector (Preventive Officer), Inspector (Examiner), Assistant Enforcement Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Jr. Statistical Officer, etc.

Eligibility Criteria:

Graduation from a known University or Institution is mandatory. Secondly, the final year student of any graduation can be aspirant for SSC CGL 2018.

Age Limit:

The candidate must be under 20 to 30 years of age if he/she wants to apply for SSC CGL 2018.

Pay Scale:

Group B Posts: Rs 9,300- 34,800
Group C Posts: Rs.5,200- 20,200

Selection Process

The exam is divided into four Tiers. In each Tier, the skill of various fields will be tested. These are successive tests. If a candidate clears one exam, then only he/she can go to the next one.

Tier 1 – 200 Marks – Objective Type Questions to test General Intelligence, Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension of the applicants.

Tier 2 – 800 Marks – Objective Type Questions to test Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and Comprehension, Statistics and General Studies (Finance & Accounting and Economics &
Governance) of the candidates.

Tier 3 – 100 Marks – Descriptive Paper to test proficiency in English or Hindi via Essay/Passage and Letter/Application writing, etc.

Tier 4 – Computer-based Skill Test (qualifying nature only) and Document Verification

65th National Film Awards: Above 50 boycott ceremony because…

Like every year, National Film Awards are conducted but his year it was a little different. After 64 years, around 50 national awardees boycotted this award function. Actually out of 137 winners, President Ram Nath Kovind has to present awards for only 11 winners. The rest received it from Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani and Minister of State Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.

This programmee was done in the Vigyan Bhawan of the capital but there were so many vacant benches which was actually humiliating. Among them was director Praveen Morchhale, who’s “Walking With the Wind” won three National Awards including Best Film (Ladakhi).

President handed the awards to 11 people who include Vinod Khanna and Sridevi. Vinod Khanna’s award was taken by his family by the highest dignity of the country. Sridevi’s award was taken by his husband Bonny Kapoor and her daughters. Bonny Kapoor also said that receiving this award matters more than the people who will give it.

Mr Morchhale said he and several others were shocked to learn during the rehearsal the day before that the President would present the award only to a chosen few. The President’s office said it was known that since Mr Kovind took office, he has never spent more than one hour at any event.

“Our protest is not against who is getting the award from the President. Everybody should be given by the President or the ministers. Discrimination is very humiliating. It’s like artistes have been categorized into A and B,” said Mr Morchhale.

On the other hand Censor board Chief Prasoon Joshi said that the boycott was not in the right spirit. The value of award matters more than anything else. By boycotting this, they have played with the dignity of the country. He said that getting award from the highest power is something very unique and important. One should not belittle the awards. He said the he understand the emotion behind the protest but he doesn’t support them.

One more change can be seen in this ceremony was there was no performance by the winners. Joshi also said that every year changes happens and this is not new. One should be open to such changes.
