Starting with the cheapest of three new Zenbooks, the Zenbook 13 is a typical Asus Zenbook – ultra-thin at 13.9mm  and ultra-portable at just 985 grams. One wouldn’t even feel like carrying a full-fledged computer at that weight. But this, by any means, doesn’t mean that the Zenbook 13 is small or fragile.

According to Asus, its ultrabook meets the MIL-STD 810G military standard for reliability and durability. This means even if you drop it, chances weigh on the positive side, that is, it will survive.

Coming to the specifications, the Zenbook 13 features a 13.3-inch Full HD+ display. This display is mounted on a slim-bezel NanoEdge panel. It is powered by the latest of Intel CPUs – 8th generation Intel Core i5 or Core i7. On the storage front, it sports 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of PCIe SSD storage. Plus, thinness doesn’t mean lack of ports here as one gets port options including a USB-C port, two USB Type-A ports, an HDMI port, and a microSD card slot.

The Zenbook 13 is also secured by a fingerprint sensor. There are stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon, paired with the company’s SonicMaster technology. The cheapest of the new ZenBooks will be available in two color options – Deep Dive Blue and Rose Gold. Pricing starts at Rs 66,990.
